La Campagne BDS France dénonce la collaboration de la Mairie de Paris à une nouvelle opération de la Hasbara israélienne (services de propagandes) à travers « Tel Aviv sur Seine » annoncé à Paris Plage le 13 août prochain.
Un an après l’opération « bordure de protection » sur Gaza où Israël a assassiné plus de 2200 personnes dont 500 enfants selon les Nations Unies, moins d’un mois après le vote par le parlement israélien autorisant l’alimentation forcée des prisonniers, une semaine après les dernières violences coloniales qui viennent de brûler vifs tous les membres de la famille Dawabshah à Douma en Cisjordanie tuant le petit Ali Dawabshah de 18 mois, l’incursion de Tel Aviv dans Paris plage constitue une véritable provocation.
Imposer le pouvoir colonial sur les quais de la Seine dans une parodie grotesque de la « bulle » où sont enfermés les habitants de Tel Aviv , c’est vouloir nous imposer ce modèle de la ségrégation , de la discrimination et de la violence contre les populations civiles.
Un modèle que la campagne BDS refuse. Avec l’appel palestinien au Boycott Désinvestissement Sanction, elle choisit de boycotter la violence coloniale et toutes ses institutions.
Tel Aviv n’est pas une ville comme les autres. Construite sur les ruines de 7 villages palestiniens, elle est la capitale reconnue internationalement de l’Etat d’Israël : elle symbolise donc la politique de cet Etat.
Par la très faible présence d’habitants palestiniens, elle marque la volonté du régime israélien de se débarrasser de la population autochtone de la Palestine.
Célébrer Tel Aviv aujourd’hui à Paris, c’est tenter de normaliser la situation de colonisation, d’apartheid et d’épuration ethnique que subit le peuple palestinien.
Quiconque est soucieux des droits humains ne peut le supporter.
La mairie de Paris impose cette opération aux Parisien-nes qui ne sont pas d’accord avec sa collaboration et sa complicité.
Paris Plage devrait être une image du vivre ensemble dans l’égalité et le respect des droits de chacun et non pas celle d’un jumelage avec l’apartheid israélien !

“Tel Aviv-on-the-Seine” – NO to the whitewashing of Israeli apartheid by Paris City Hall

The BDS France Campaign denounces the Paris City Hall’s collaboration in the latest Israeli propaganda exercise: on 13 August, Paris Plage, the simulated beach that the city sets up each summer on the banks of the river Seine, will be turned into “Tel Aviv-on-the-Seine”.
One year after Israel’s war on Gaza, with the massacre of more than 2,200 Palestinians including 500 children according to UN figures, less than one month after the Israeli parliament voted to authorize the force-feeding of prisoners, one week after the latest colonial violence burned alive members of the Dawabsha family in Duma in the occupied West Bank killing 18-month-old baby Ali, the incursion of Tel Aviv on to Paris Plage is a downright provocation.
Imposing the colonial power on to the banks of the Seine, in a grotesque parody of the bubble in which the Tel Aviv inhabitants live, is a desire to impose upon us a model of segregation, discrimination and violence against civilian populations.
It is a model rejected by the BDS Campaign which, following the Palestinian Boycott-Divestment-Sanctions appeal, chooses to boycott this colonial violence and all of its institutions.
Tel Aviv is not a city like any other. It is built on top of the ruins of seven Palestinian villages, it is the internationally recognized capital of the State of Israel and thus symbolizes the policies of that state.
By its very small number of Palestinian inhabitants, Tel Aviv displays the Israeli regime’s wish to get rid of the indigenous population of Palestine.
To celebrate in Paris the city of Tel Aviv is an attempt to normalize the system of colonization, apartheid and ethnic cleansing endured by the Palestinian people.
Anyone who is concerned about human rights will find this intolerable.
The Paris City Hall is imposing this operation upon the Parisians who oppose its collaboration and collusion.
Paris Plage should be an example of living together in equality and respect for the rights of all, not that of the city being twinned with Israeli apartheid!
